Swedish Massage is a very relaxing and therapeutic style of bodywork. It combines oils or lotion with an array of strokes such as rolling, kneading, and percussion to help the body improve its circulation. The benefits of this type of bodywork are wide-ranging and include relief from aches and pains, decreased stress levels in the body, enhanced mental clarity, improved appearance, and greater flexibility.
Therapeutic Massage is massage using a combination of the therapies I am trained in, including crystals, Reiki and Himalayan Salt Stones, as needed to resolve the client's specific concerns.
Deep Tissue Massage
Deep Tissue Massage is a form of bodywork that aims to relieve tension in the deeper layers of tissue in the body. Deep Tissue Massage is a highly effective method for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries. Due to the nature of the deep tissue work, open communication during the session is crucial to make sure you don't get too uncomfortable. Keep in mind that soreness is pretty common after the treatment, and that plenty of water should be ingested to aid with the flushing and removal of toxins that will have been released from the deep tissue during the session.
Trigger Point Therapy
Trigger Point Therapy is a style of bodywork that focuses on stimulating and releasing "trigger points" in your body. Trigger points are tender areas of tension similar to acupressure points, except they occur in the belly of the muscle rather than along the energy pathways of the body. These "knots" are built up throughout a person's life due to physical, mental, and/or emotional stress. During a session, focused pressure is applied through a variety of techniques order to release your trigger points. This process can be quite painful at times, yet the effects are lasting and profoundly transformative.
Myofascial release is a form of soft tissue therapy intended to eliminate pain, increase range of motion, and rebalance the entire body. It does this by using massage techniques to stretch the fascia and release the bonds that exist between the fascia, muscles and bones. Fascia is the connective tissue that connects and covers all muscles, organs, and skeletal structures of the body. Direct myofascial release is sometimes known as deep tissue work. Indirect release applies light pressure and gently stretches the fascia; this allows for increased blood circulation and relief from pain.
A 60 or 90 minute massage. Both of you receive a massage in the same room at the same time. Your choice of modalities include any modality offered by the therapist you have. Most people receive therapeutic or relaxation massage. You must call or text to schedule due to coordinating two therapist's schedules. Normal pricing is 60 minute for $120; 90 minute for $170.
Infant Massage is a style of bodywork designed specifically to promote the healthy development of your infant. Caring human touch is crucial for a healthy thriving baby, and the benefits of massaging your infant are potent and numerous. For example, many infants show improved growth and development of the brain and nervous system. Infant massage has also been shown to improve the quality of a baby's sleep, as well as strengthening their immune system.
Geriatric massage is a form of massage designed to meet the specific needs of the elderly. It helps to improve blood circulation, relieve pain, and also increase range of motion. If you are elderly, geriatric massage can help you maintain and improve your overall health, as well as regain certain physical functions that have been reduced due to aging. In addition, since the elderly don't typically receive enough physical touch, this massage can also help alleviate symptoms of loneliness or depression.
Hot Stone Therapy
Hot Stone Therapy is a style of massage where heated stones are placed at specific sites on your body to deepen relaxation and promote circulation in your muscles. Muscles that are heated with these stones release tension and stress much more deeply and quickly than with a traditional massage. The overall experience is very relaxing, nurturing, and rejuvenating.
Himalayan Salt Stone Massage
Our bodies need salt. It is essential for maintaining healthy functioning of the cells, nerve conduction, digestion, absorption and elimination of waste products. Himalayan salt is pristine and natural, one of the cleanest salts available and has wonderful healing properties. Warmed Himalayan Salt Stones are used for massage similar to a Hot Stone Massage. The salt stones help to relax the muscles, re-mineralize the body, balance the central nervous system and nourish depleted cells, leaving the body in a deeper sense of relaxation. Salt stone placement on the body can help stimulate specific meridians on the body which allows for improved sleep and reduced inflammation, giving you a sense of well-being.
Chair massage is a popular way of relieving stress and releasing tension right in your home or workplace. You receive your massage in a specialized ergonomic chair which I bring to your location. In addition to the usual health benefits of massage, another benefit of chair massage is that it is done over the clothing. With seated massage, you can avoid the discomfort and awkwardness that you may feel in disrobing for a traditional massage. Also, chair massage sessions are usually shorter than traditional massage, making it convenient enough to fit into your busy schedule.

Energy work is based on the belief that everyone has a "life force", and that the body needs to sustain its balance for optimum health. Anytime you experience emotional or physical illness, it indicates that your life force has simply become unbalanced. I work directly with your energy field to restore balance and flow to your entire system. And once your energy field has been restored to full health, your body will follow.
Reiki is a Japanese form of energy work that cleanses and balances the energy system in the body. As a result, the body's natural self-healing mechanisms strengthen, helping to establish optimum health. During a session, I work directly with your energy field to remove blockages, detoxify your system, and restore your vital life force energy. You remain dressed and relax on the massage table during the session. Reiki utilizes a gentle laying on of hands to conduct the necessary energy force between us. The benefits of Reiki range from the release of habitual mental/emotional stress to alleviating chronic pain.
Crystal Reiki is a form of energy work that cleanses and balances the body's energy system. Energy is given off by the stones to treat the mind, body and spirit. In Crystal Reiki, I use crystals (like quartz, amethyst, emeralds and selenite) in a specific layout around, near or on the body. During the session, the client is fully dressed and relaxes on the massage table. Benefits of Crystal Reiki can range from stress reduction, a deeper connection with your "inner self" or "higher self", finding a place of balance, promotes better sleep and a reduction in headaches and migraines.
Crystal Reiki is used to treat the mind, body and spirit, it is not meant to replace conventional medicine. Instead it should be incorporated into your whole wellness plan and self-care. Crystal Reiki is not an independent therapy but a greater holistic healing approach.
Crystal therapy is the use of crystals during massage or Reiki sessions or as a separate therapy called Crystal Healing.
Crystal therapy is much like Hot Stone massage, using crystals instead of hot stones. The crystals can be warmed, chilled or used just as they are. I can include the crystals in a therapeutic or relaxation massage or in a Reiki session. Crystal Reiki is a separate practice from Crystal Therapy. Crystal therapy is an addition to massage, Reiki or as separate therapy (Crystal Healing)
Crystals like Rose quartz, clear quartz and amethyst that are specially designed for massage are used for reducing muscle tension, relaxation, detoxifying the body, promoting better sleep, reduces headaches and migraines.
Crystals help reinforce the healing session and bring life force energy or “chi” into the body. The crystals help that life force energy go to where it is needed for the most healing benefit. (Life force energy is the body’s own natural healing ability)
Uses of Crystals:
- during Reiki sessions to aid in healing and clearing your chakras or your body’s natural energy pathways and aid in healing the mind, body and spirit.
- facial firming massage using rose quartz. No chemicals or facial firming products are used for this, only massage cream is used if necessary.
- on reflexology points on the feet, hands, ears, face and back using specially designed crystals (like a selenite wand)
Crystal therapy is used to treat the mind, body and spirit, it is not meant to replace conventional medicine. Instead it should be incorporated into your whole wellness plan and self- care.
Crystal therapy is not an independent therapy but a part of a greater holistic healing approach.
